Lydia Rose is the General Manager of the Jamaican collective management organization, Jamaica Association of Composers, Authors and Publishers (JACAP) since 2012 , which administers the rights of the composers, authors, publishers, of musical works both local and international in Jamaica. Solely coordinated all the logistical work in setting up this organization
She holds a M.Sc. Degree in International Business & B.Sc. Management & Accounting from the University of the West Indies
She currently hold the post of chair for the Management Committee of the Association of Caribbean Copyright Societies (ACCS) an organization formed by the four major Rights Management Societies in the Caribbean - Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica and St. Lucia. Former Director, Jamaica Intellectual Property Office (JIPO), Member of the Advisory Committee on Communication for UNESCO.
Former General Manager for Anchor Group of Companies, from 1996 to 2012, which comprises a Recording Studio, (Music Works) Publishing Company - the largest in the Caribbean - (Dubplate Music Publishers) & CD/DVD Duplication plant (Anchor Media Products )
